All our dental surgeons are members of the ‘Ordre des Dentist du Quebec’ (ODQ) and of the ‘Association des Chirurgiens Dentistes du Québec’ (ACDQ).

Dr. Michel Kakon, Dental Surgeon

Dr. Michel Kakon graduated from McGill University in 1987 and established the CDVM in 1988. He has since participated in multiple training programs in orthodontics and ones aiming to treat TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint) disorders. He is also a founding member of SEF Study Club (Study club grouping many dentists in order to discuss new developments in the dental world.) In the 90’s, Dr. Kakon was featured regularly on CJAD as guest dentist for a call-in talk show.

Dr. Lisa McGregor, Dental Surgeon

Dr. McGregor graduated from McGill in 1995. She completed a year of multi-disciplinary residency at the Royal Victoria Hospital, and afterwards began working in private practice in 1996. Throughout the years, she was involved in dentistry organizations and has been the president of The Federation of Dental Societies of Greater Montreal.

She has received the following awards during her studies:

Dr. K.I. Melville Prize (Highest standing in Basic Science subjects in 1st 2 years of the program)

Dr. McGregor joined our team in 1996.

In December 2023, Dr. McGregor has taken a leave to return to her native town in Gaspé, and her sister Dr. Lisette McGregor is now caring for her patients.

Dr. Lisette McGregor, Dental Surgeon

Dr. Lisette McGregor graduated from dentistry at McGill University in 1998. She completed a one year multidisciplinary residency at the Royal Victoria hospital, and then started working in private practice with Dr. Sgro and Dr. Lang in 1999.

Dr. McGregor was involved in organized dentistry being a former President of the Montreal Dental Club and a past member of the board of the Quebec Dental Surgeons Association.

She is currently a member of the Order of Dentists of Quebec and the Quebec Dental Surgeons Association.

Dr. Lisette McGregor joined our team January 2024.

Dr. Karim Chalaby, Periodontist

Dr. Chalaby has been practising periodontics (gum treatment) and implantology in Montreal for over 20 years. He specializes in gingival and bone grafts, treatment of periodontal diseases and surgery of dental implants.

Dr. Gabriel Kakon, Dental Surgeon

Born and raised in Montreal, Dr. Gabriel Kakon graduated from the faculty of dentistry from McGill Unviversity in 2022. He completed a BSc in Biology, a BSc with honours in Kinesiology (awarded FRQNT, and graduated in the top 1% of his class) and an MSc studying a novel staging system for pediatric obesity (awarded FRQS).

As an active community member, Dr. Kakon volunteered for the McGill outreach program, providing dental care to underserved communities. He also sat on the commitee of several clubs and societies, at both Concordia and McGill Universities.

Dr. Kakon is passionate about dentistry, and aims to provide a comprehensive care approach.

Dr. Gabriel Dahan, Dental Surgeon

Dr. Gabriel Dahan graduated from the Université de Montréal in 1986. He is a member of the Quebec Order of Dentists, the Quebec Association of Dental Surgeons, and the Alpha Omega Scientific Association of Montreal. Since 1988, he has been practicing in downtown Montreal.

As a general dentist with a focus on cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry, Dr. Dahan continually enhances his expertise through ongoing education lectures and seminars. Dedicated to providing exceptional care, Dr. Dahan adopts a compassionate and friendly approach, always attentive to the needs of his patients.
